The website is working in progress.
This site has the intention to become the most complete and detailled info source for all stuff that is solo or heroic named
and drops valueable loot in Everquest II.
To fill the database we need your help! We need logfiles, many of them.
In order to get them, you can download our small parser program that parses your logfile and returns the results to us.More infos in the FAQ section.
Since it's still beta we got Known Issues .
Still some debugging at the moment. Work on most features started already.
Remember, the database can only grow with the help of the community and people willing to send logfiles.

Great News!
We released a brand new logfile parser. No more big filesize and additional installations needed.
Get it here: EQ2 Named Parser
It works with german and english game version.
And dont forget the database can only grow with your help. Thanks in advance.
(For the technically interested it's now written in visual basic instead python)

You can now look up NPC's on EQ2 Named from Everquest2 ingame.
Just type or make a macro reading:
/browser www.eq2named.com/index.php?m=%t
(%t is a placeholder for the currently targeted NPC. You can alternatively just type the NPC name instead of '%t'.)

Big changes in the pipeline! In the not-soo-near future we change the concept of getting data. People won't need to send in their logfiles. Rather we develop a parser tool that runs on the player's machine. You just specify the logfile, let the parser do the work and then get the option to read what the programm filtered out and send that to us with one mouseclick.
This will counter two known problems:
1. no data other than parsed drops will be send.
2. it reduces the filesize of the transfered data by..lets say 97%.
Until then, we still encourage the player to send logfiles though :)
